The ATN PVS14-3 Multi-Purpose Night Vision Monocular has a 27mm f/1.2 lens for excellent light gathering to augment its good performance generation 3 image intensifier tube. Automatic shut-off and bright light cut-off systems protect the tube from damage due to intentional or accidental overload. Automatic brightness control keeps the phosphor screen at a comfortable viewing level. The lightweight PVS14-3A is waterproof and can be handheld, mounted on a helmet or headset, or adapted to cameras and camcorders. It is powered by one AA battery that yields 50 hours of use.
