The Celestron Regal Premium Tripod features 4-section aluminum legs with 3 angle adjustments and a 2-way fluid-head with a 1/4″-20 quick release adapter for your scope, binocular, etc. To secure your tripod in one place, there are interchangeable rubber or spiked feet as well, and the bottom of the column holds a retractable ballast hook which can hold additional weigh to add stability. When it is not needed, you can retract it into the center column and keep it out of the way.
