GPO Passion 8x42HD Binoculars feature Double HD objective lenses, which are extra-low dispersion lenses that are chemically laminated to create a single multi-layer high performance lens. This process reduces surface light reflections, enhances resolution and color contrast, minimizing chromatic aberration. Combined with GPO’s GPObright lens coatings, light transmission of 91% is achieved. External lenses have PASSIONdrop hydrophobic coating. The Passion HD 8×42 has a generous eye relief of 19.5mm and a close focus of 6.5′. Of course, they are waterproof and nitrogen purged.
