The Nikon ProStaff 1000i Laser Rangefinder is a 6×20 monocular rangefinder with Nikon’s ID Technology. ID stands for Incline/Decline, and can display either Horizontal Distance or Actual Distance with a mode selection. This small, ergonomic rangefinder also has Nikon’s Tru-Target Technology which lets you select either First Target (the closest animal) or Distant Target (an animal deeper in the herd or behind some trees or bushes).
