Vortex Diamondback HD 20-60×85 Angled Spotting Scopes have been redesigned with improved optics and a sleeker body. The focus knob has been replaced with a helical focus ring to prevent snagging on other items in a day pack. New glass and coatings via the Vortex HD Optical System improve brightness and color fidelity and reduce chromatic aberration. The 85mm objective diameter delivers more light and better resolution than the previous 80mm version. The rubber armored body is waterproof and argon purged, and the external lens surfaces are coated with ArmorTek scratch-resistant and water repellent coating.
