The Vortex Viper HD 10×42 Binoculars have been revamped with a broad range of improvements. Field of view is now 341′ at 1000 yards versus the older model’s 319′, delivering a more encompassing image. An improved Premium HD lens system strengthens image sharpness, brightness and contrast. A shorter minimum interpupillary distance of 56 mm accommodates more users, while the 17 mm eye relief offers more comfort than the previous 16.5 mm. The new Viper HD line also features a 6.5′ close focus so that you can concentrate on subjects that are right in front of you. Some great features from the old series were kept, such as the anti-reflective XR lens coating that maximizes light transmission and the ArmorTek coating that protects the lens surfaces from the scratches, debris and oil. All of these features are protected in an ergonomic, weatherproof housing with the classic Vortex green finish.
